What type of work does the UCTP do?

The United Confederation of Taino People's advocacy, policy, and  community development issues include, but are not limited to the affirmation and promotion of Taíno and other Caribbean Indigenous Human Righs, Culture, and Heritage; the correction of historic misconceptions concerning Caribbean Indigenous Peoples; the protection of the Caribbean environment and natural resources (including wildlife); and the preservation, maintenance and management of Indigenous Caribbean sacred places and ceremonial sites as well as the repatriation of indigenous cultural artifacts and the re-internment of ancestral remains now in the hands of museums and private collections worldwide.
